Long time leader of Buddy Merriam & Back Roads steps out with a new group, new sound performing his original mandolin compositions with double mandolins in harmony, acoustic guitar & bass. Along with many of Buddy’s most requested tunes from his 6 Lily Pad Records CD’s and his “Back Roads Mandolin” book he’ll be playing some newer compositions that have influences of bluegrass, jazz, classical and rock.

The Mandolin Experience includes  Buddy on mandolin, Greg Butler on mandolin and fellow Back Roads members Carlos Cordero on bass & Jack Gabis playing guitar. Come on out for a powerful night of mandolin music. Buddy’s mandolin was built for him by master mandolin/guitar maker John Monteloene from Islip.
